Phoenix Webbrowser for 8-bit
Among the programs that can be counted for the Atari 8bit, you will find telecommunication programs that allow you to connect to other computers, either via a BBS that someone is running, or by using a Dial-Up Number (I.e. a university such as MSU). This is fine for the Atari user who doesn't have a need for more than access to a small corner of the internet, but the internet is not just a small corner. It's a wide world! And so, what does the Atari user/owner do to access the World Wide Web? Well, previously, there simply wasn't a way to do it in a fashion that one could palate. PHOENIX will change that. |
